[INIT]
27-container self-hosted security platform. AI-governed. Built from a fifth wheel RV. Documented publicly. Every win. Every failure. (almost)
[STATUS]
Fully on-prem. Intrusion detection, network monitoring, threat intelligence, DNS filtering. Cold beer. Local AI orchestra with its own persistent memory layer. Running from inside a 2014 DRV Mobile Suite 38RSSB3.
[PROTOCOL]
I am basing this project off the 70/30 protocol where Bot does 70% of the heavy lifting and the operator (or "Bot-Jockey" as I like to refer to myself) retains the crucial 30% responsibility. Judgement, reasoning, decision making, final opinions — like this executive decision to completely re-write my Protocol section!
[IDENTITY]
My name's Chris. I'm not a network engineer. I'm not a Linux admin. I'm not a coder. I'm just a dude who got bored one day and taught himself to delegate to AI and govern its output.
[LOG 2026-03-01 09:14]
Gap year. Disastrous 2025. Piles of salvaged IT equipment everywhere. Decided to do something with it.
[NOTE]
First objective: inventory. Cautiously ventured into AI to build a spreadsheet that looked clean and professional. Not sloppy copy-pasta. Not admin garbage.
[WARNING]
That project took off and exploded. AI builds fast. Then it suggests improvements you never thought of. That's where things get tricky.
[SKIP >> 7 DAYS]
// fast forward a week from the spreadsheet incident
[DOCUMENTATION]
This site documents the entire build. The 2am debugging sessions. The governance protocol. The Ah-HAs!, LoLs, Aw-Shits, and Gotchas! The stack that grew from a spreadsheet into an AI driven SOC + Fully Automated and Autonomous Luxury Bachelor Pad. (hopefully, maybe... let me cook dammit.)
[WELCOME]
Pull up a chair, crack a cold beer, let's build some cool shit together!!!

MODULE 001 — RECOVERED DATA
The Full Archive
Every article. Every build log. Every failure published instead of buried. The whole library — past, present, and whatever breaks next.
MODULE 002 — INCOMING SIGNAL
New Drops, No Algorithm
Posts hit your inbox directly. No feed ranking. No engagement optimization. Just the work, when it ships.
MODULE 003 — PERSONNEL
The Crew
Builders, breakers, and the quietly paranoid. Homelab at 2am. DNS arguments in forum threads. You're already one of us.
MODULE 004 — PROOF OF WORK
The Library
10+ published articles documenting the full build. Stack deployment. AI governance. Protocol development. The work is the resume.

ASSEMBLY RECORD
[EVENT] WEEK 0
Took inventory of salvaged IT equipment. Asked AI to build a spreadsheet.
The spreadsheet fought back.
[EVENT] WEEK 1
Stood up Proxmox on a reclaimed Dell T3600.
Docker containers started multiplying.
[EVENT] WEEK 2
Security stack online.
Suricata, Zeek, Wazuh, CrowdSec. The RV sees everything.
[EVENT] WEEK 3
Built CORTEX — persistent AI memory layer.
The machine remembers between sessions.
[ONGOING]
Still building. Still documenting.
Still bolting salvaged parts onto the monster and seeing what happens when you flip the switch.
SIGNAL
Building toward residential and small business security services. One salvaged part at a time.

Built on Ghost. Hosted on-prem. Obviously.
